Christine Bedolla (Marina)

Christine is a Kenosha-based actress and writer. She is an English major at UW-Parkside and has been studying under Maureen Cashin-Bolog at Actor's Craft (@actorscraft) in downtown Kenosha. This is Christine's very first film, which is hard to believe, given all of her talent!


Adam Holbus (Jordan)

Adam is a Milwaukee-based actor, filmmaker, writer and musician.  An alum of Milwaukee High School of the Arts' theatre program, he is a senior at UWM and starting his own capstone film, as well.  Most recently, Adam played the titular role in Ashface, for which he won Best Actor of the Twisted Dreams Film Festival (2018). His directing credits include 11 Seconds, the play turned short Purgatory (starring QDavis Lea and written by Aisha Spencer) and Rap Battle Club

QDavis Lea (Cam)

Q is a Milwaukee-based actor, director, photographer and writer. His most recent performances include the feature-length film Ashface and the play Pure Enough to Drink. Q will also star in the feature-length film Untangled.  Like Adam, he is also an MHSA theatre alum.  You can follow Q and his photography on Instagram.

Marika Holbus (Writer/Director)

Marika is the writer, director, producer, editor-in-chief and co-camera operator of The Love Bug: a Covid Tale.  After graduating from Milwaukee High School of the Arts in 2016, she studied English at UWM before switching to film.  Other film credits include And Introducing Nadjah Hasan, I Die and Healing Wheels: a Chakra Piece.  

Like Adam and Christine, Marika also has trained with Maureen Cashin-Bolog at Actor’s Craft.  Her acting credits include Ashface, Stolen Dreams and will also star in Aisha’s senior project, Eidetic Memory.  She most recently appeared in UWM’s monthly open mic, Lyrical Sanctuary; Anja Sieger’s Advice Tent; sang alto in UWM’s women’s chorus; and represented UWM’s Film Department at the 2018 Woodland Patterns Book Center Poetry Marathon.  


Currently, Marika works as an instructor and media coordinator for City Youth Martial Arts, a nonprofit outreach program.  She is grateful you're here and hopes you enjoy the film!
