About the Film

The Love Bug is the thesis film written and directed by Marika Holbus, who will graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee this spring.  

Few expected a global pandemic.  But when Jordan, an unemployed chef, gets hit by a love lock from recently dumped Marina, they catch a different kind of bug: the love bug.  Now they must decide whether it is safer to stay as friends or if they can have their own quarantine love story.
